A very entertaining audio , suspenseful and absorbing .I would have probably skipped pages if I had read the paperback but the excellent performance of Georgia Maguire as a narrator kept the story interesting and fast-paced .

Go ahead and skip this book. Where was her editor? The first 2/3 was the exact same drivel on repeat; it was uncomfortably repetitive. Additionally, I (who love flawed characters) really disliked the protagonist. She was whiney and…

The book had a good start to get you interested but the middle got tiresome with much the same discussion over and over. After having stated the above the ending chapters were awesome and gave the most gratifying ending I have ever…

I found this book VERY slow, but I had already made it halfway through with a prediction and I was determined to see if I was right. It wasn’t until the last few chapters I was fully engaged and couldn’t put it down.

Overall, the book lacked excitement and suspense with a very slow plot and story line. I thought the summary seemed very vague and uninformative but that's just the book, that's all there is to it. Since the story is surrounding a murder,…

I just finished this book. For quite a few chapters I thought seriously about returning it, because it was just not terrific, but then I got into it enough that I wanted to know whodunit... while the beginning told how it started, I think…

Its a page-turning thriller that will leave you guessing, if you can't trust yourself, who can you trust? Why she didn't stop and help the woman in the car; who would be found dead.

I only wish there were more books by B.A. Paris. I really like how she writes. Her novels are clean, suspenseful, characters seem real with many dynamics. I’ve read the three of hers that are available and enjoyed her writing in…

I quite enjoyed this book, and it did keep me guessing somewhat, but the genre is becoming quite predictable and that did take away from my enjoyment a bit. Overall, a good story though not as shocking as Behind Closed Doors.

I was disappointed with this book. The first 240 pages were repetitive. I kept reading because her first book was so engrossing I thought this one must get better. Unfortunately the outcome was predictable. The happenings were also so…

I loved the book and I could not put it down. Interesting, hard to imagine the ending, well written. Highly recommended. Main character complicated, easy to relate to, the contrast between idealistic cottage life and the horrific story…

From someone who has about a million different things going on at any given time and who finds themselves often asking "Did I..?"/"I could've sworn I..."/"I did that?" - this book will make you question yourself and everything you're…

Her first novel, 'Behind Closed Doors' was brilliant and I predicted her sophomore effort wouldn't be able to rise to that high standard. I was prescient and this must rank as an amateurish effort not because of the lack of forensics but a…
