Such a great book. I'm not going to spoil anything, but it has to do with the mind. It is so worth the read!

I really liked the first book Seraphina. Shadow Scale has a lot of great characters, but was a bit too detailed and slow in the first part of the book that I'd thought I would stop reading it. I continued to read and finished it and it…

I found this book a little slow-paced, but the world in which this book is set in is incredibly well-thought out and explained. The ending was.....very bittersweet....

A good story, with a somewhat disappointing ending.

I enjoyed the expansion of the world - seeing different countries, meeting new half-dragon characters, both sympathetic and surly. Jannoula, especially, is such a great character - sinister, intelligent and frightening, yet still…

This was a wonderful book. Absolutely stunning! Every question that was created in the first book and some questions in the second book were answered completely. If there is another book, I'm at the edge of my seat waiting!

This long-awaited sequel to "Seraphina" delivers. I was completely caught up in the intrigue. I can't wait for the next one.

It extends the world of Seraphina into multiple countries and introduces many (maybe too many) new characters. But Seraphina's internal world turns out to be just as important, and I found this to be a satisfying tale.

I really liked the first book in the series but I think the gap in between them was too long and I lost interest. I found while I was reading this book that I couldn't remember everything that happened in the first one. It seemed like she…

Not as good as the first book. Found it long and chapters are too long I was getting discouraged fast and just wanted to complete the book to get it over with!

Amazing sequel and conclusion to the tale of Seraphina with greater complexity of storyline and wider scope of events. The characterization and relationships are just as wonderful to read as in the prequel. The solution with regards to the…

This is a great sequel to Seraphina. There are many different moral problems and quite a few personal ones in this book and the complexity is enthralling. If you are looking for epic battles leaping from exciting moment to exciting…

"When civil war breaks out among the dragons, it stirs up personal and political challenges for half-dragon, half-human Seraphina. Though she would rather stay in Goredd, playing music and trying to ignore the impossible attraction between…
