This is a good thriller, well paced with interesting characters. It's much less technical than, say, Tom Clancy books but has a similar cast of characters whose actions are followed in alternating sections, and who come together at the end.

Thomas Harris is impressive in his ability to build up the character of Michael Lander and his psychotic personality. It is a shame the ending was not satisfactory, due to the feeling that it was rushed. However, I was impressed with the character development and Michael Lander will always be a fascinating example of PTSD and childhood trauma.
