I'm not sure I can say it better than BORIGORDITO below. There is "mor magic than u can count" in this film. Part of the wave of 90s teens horror movies ("Scream," "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "Urban Legend"), "The Craft" is basically "Heathers" (or "Clueless") meets "The Witches of Eastwick." It's silly, but enjoyable and one of a number of 90s movies to reclaim witches. Fairuza Balk, who sort of had a corner on troubled goth girls, Neve Campbell, Robin Tunney, Rachel True, and Skeet Ulrich star. Campbell and Ulrich were also in "Scream," which came out the same year. It has a very 90s soundtrack, the highlight of which is Julianna Hatflied's cover of Marianne Faithful's "Witches Song." Also might want to check out "The Lost Boys" and "Gingersnaps."
