for fans of brian dennehy, this is a good one: he has a major role, in an exciting, involving, suspenseful legal thriller. bonnie bedelia does an unusual turn on the typical role of the devoted housewife. in a Gene Tierney-like role, Greta Scacchi is excellent, and Harrison Ford was in his prime when he made this. it mattered not to me that I can't tell the difference between John Grisham and Scott Turow, I still enjoyed this film, and have, several times.
