Batman at peak career, as far as the movie series goes. It's pretty great, though I don't know if Heath Ledger is my favorite Joker; I'm rather fond of Jack Nicholson and Mark Hamill.

Brilliant writing, really shows how to write a good hero and an evil villain.

One of my favorite if not my favorite movies of all time. This movie is casted perfectly, i couldn't think of any one better to play any of the parts. Great story, GREAT villain, great hero, another great villain, and just a great movie altogether. One of my favorite directors, Christopher Nolan, creates the second part of one of the greatest trilogies in film history. I don't know how any one could not like this movie.

Even though it has Batman and the Joker it definitely feels more like a crime thriller than a superhero movie. This film is a classic for me. Such a dark, gritty, grounded and realistic take on both Batman and the Joker. Heath Ledger's performance still continues to amaze me today. Everything about this film is extraordinary!

Christopher Nolan continues to direct the Batman trilogy with this masterpiece. The film has a star cast including Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman, apart from others. The Dark Knight is an amazing movie, and it is not only my favourite movie from this trilogy, it’s also my favourite superhero movie of all time. There are many reasons behind this, such as the brilliant performance of Heath Ledger as The Joker, the underlying themes of identity, deception, and purity, the great action scenes, and the emotional and moral conflict. Even the story as a whole is highly engaging, and it showcases Bruce Wayne trying to defend Gotham from The Joker while fighting corruption, trying to remain emotionally stable, sticking to his moral code, and trying to figure out who he really is. In spite of having a lot of action, The Dark Knight focuses on philosophy that makes audiences think. Overall, I would give the film 5 stars.

Working with  Lt. Jim Gordon, a police commissioner, and Harvey Dent, a DA, the caped crusader tries to battle crime on the inside of the system. However, when a new villain arises, The Joker, the Gothamite citizens are unwillingly hurdled into extreme and dangerous chaos, and their faith is tested. A sequel to the previous movie, and winning critical appraisal, especially for Heath Ledger, this gem hasn't gone unnoticed. Personally I think the film could have delved into explaining aspects of it more, but this movie deserves the attention that it got.

The symbiosis of good and evil is the film's philosophical core, and images of duality and cloaked identity are strewn through it like shards from a fun house mirror.

Again, it was Ok movie. Besides the language, it was good.

The Chechen: [During a private sit down meeting with the gangsters] What do you propose?

The Joker: It's simple. We, uh, kill the Batman.

[mobsters laugh]

Salvatore Maroni: If it's so simple, why haven't you done it already?

The Joker: If you're good at something, never do it for free.

Violence: Most of the movie dosnt show much, but implies a lot, with the exceptions of a few scenes especially a burnt face. But this is a very dark movie. But a great one.

Violence: People get killed, KO'd, beaten up really bad, dropped from the second floor. Yeah, it's pretty standard for a superhero movie, lots of beat'em up and such. But you've got to admit, Batman has got some rad fighting skills, I'll give him a 10/10 for just those.
