All the recipes in this book are easy... Maybe a little TOO easy if you are used to cooking from scratch for a family of four! I found some recipe ideas that I liked, but really had to sift through compared to other cookbooks. A lot of the foods in this book are too processed for our taste and budget. And some are just sandwich ideas. But there are a few gems with lots of delicious veggies, as well. There is nutritional info provided for the recipes, and some photos. Overall, I'd recommend this most for young people who cook for 1 person, and don't have much time/ experience in the kitchen.

While very well put together, it was of no use to me. Splenda is known to cause weight gain and has been linked to cancer; "diet" foods usually contain more sugar/fats and are fraudulently labelled.
I'm saying a diet full of processed ingredients may be quicker, but I wouldn't feed the junk that is "recommended staples" to my family. You may as well drive them to the local fast-food joint for all the good that's in those.

If you like recipes that call for sugar free and fat free ingredients , this is the cookbook for you.
