As a mom this was definitely an enjoyable and thoughtful read. Not something I would typically pick up, as it was chosen through my book club, I was surprised at how much I liked it. I thought the characters were easy to relate to and thought the range of reactions were pretty representative of how something like this might be reacted to in a real life situation. I would definitely reccommend this book. I would even consider reading it WITH my daughter when she is of age, its a good conversation starter/learning opportunity. Lots of ways to take this work of fiction and apply it to real life

Excellent story from all different points of view, especially those who thought things were under control......and not. Well done.
