Interesting story of two women, best friends throughout childhood and college, who have grown apart and are reunited. This story, for various reasons, is true for many women. I appreciated the efforts of Maggie to recapture the intimacy between Delphine and her. Both women develop a more mature relationship while helping each other deal with emotional issues.

This book is interesting in that it examines friendship and what it really is. I was able to relate in some ways to the characters and I thought it was also a good beach read. However it was a little slow paced and drawn out.
