This book had so much potential but really fell flat. Interesting story, takes a while to build up, and then doesn't really go into the "why" or the aftermath of Tania Head's enormous deception.

I had never heard of this until I read a review of this book. The more I read, the more outrageous this woman became. Proof that truth can be stranger than fiction!

I knew the story, had seen the video, but reading the book provided more context and detail. My heart goes out to the victims whose tragedy must have been exacerbated years later when they learned the truth about the subject of the book. As much as she may have helped some people, she seemed to have wanted to destroy anyone who stood between her and the spotlight. I am left puzzled about what could lead someone to have such a deep seated need for attention, and maintain such a fantasy for so long.

A must read. Delightful, suspensful.
This woman made me angry and still does. I feel she still hasn't learnt her lesson. Please, people, anyone who meets this woman BEWARE!!
I believe what was said about her at the end of the book by one who was deceived...'that she will repeat her performance to others she meets'...

Unbelievable. A real page turner that just leaves you not knowing what to think.
