Every day at half-past three a little girl meets her Grandpa for tea. When he says he'd like some of her muffin she replies "Too far away" because they are talking over their computer screens. This book reflects the 21st century reality of many children who meet, talk to and build loving relationships with their extended family members over the internet.

Wow - a reflection on our digital lives. There is a heartwarming upside.

Originally I wasn't that impressed with this book, but then I looked more closely at the overall composition -- without giving away the ending (text wouldn't do it, it's in the pictures) and was quite taken with how this simple story of a grandchild and grandpa converse each afternoon at 3:30 over tea. Have to read it for the final page, as it really says a lot about our society in the technology age. original 2 star went to 4 star. Nice simple story.
