This sixth season stands out to me as one of the funniest. There are some classic episodes here, such as "Frank Goes Downstairs", "The Angry Family", "Marie's Sculpture", "Cookies", or "Talk to Your Daughter". Interestingly, this season ends off in the middle of an episode arc, a first for the series, in which the family is not on the best of terms. What I liked the most about this season, though, is that it starts to reveal a different side to Frank. A curmudgeon up until now, episodes here paint a softer side, especially when he defends his daughter in-law. I greatly enjoyed this season and would highly recommend it.
