Aimée Leduc takes on revenge for World War II incidents without her father in her rise from secretary to detective. Aimée's a great character (despite Black's default to her clothing), so are Paris and Chambly, but except the detective family, the rest are mediocre in this character soup however good the French froth. Joining serial with a Collaboration zinger is a great frame, but does justice to neither, especially with other B plots. Instant publishing acceptance?
