These books are incredible! I cannot believe they are not very well known! The characters are all very well developed and have distinct personalities, and the plotline is addictive. This is one of those stories that has a strong hold on you from the moment you begin the first page - dragging you in so far you never want to return.
If you like Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, or Alice in Wonderland, then I highly recommend this book. It's great for any age!

This book fully deserves my 5-star rating. It was engaging, well-written, and simply awesome! i put a hold on the rest of the series, and was constantly checking my holds list to see if #2 was available for me yet!!!

This series of books are the best things that will ever happen to you. They have interesting characters and villains that twist the plot in ways that are normally unimaginable. There is not any page in the book that won't have you hooked. Shannon Messenger has done the impossible by writing this series. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Land Of Stories, Sisters Grimm, and any other book in the entire universe, I can guarantee that these books are better.

My daughter loves the books in this series. They are enchanting, full of adventures, not too scary and different enough from other books like this to be exciting and fun to read. I love reading them too! A win for Shannon Messenger!

I love this book!!! Shannon Messenger is like, the best author ever. Also people, not to give you ideas, but I accidently read the fifth book first. But I wrecked a lot of stuff for myself, so seriously, don't do it. (But I didn't find out Sophie's terror when Fitz found her before hand, thankfully, that was hilarious.) I can also see where the Harry Potter element comes in. For those of you people that haven't read this book, the least I can do is recommend this book to you, the most I could do, (or maybe the worst!) is go on raving about how well written this book is, and the wonderful artwork on the covers.

This is the best book I have every read (well, not including the rest of the books in the series). If you liked Harry Potter, Percy Jackson or Land of Stories this is the book / series for you. You probably never read anything better then Shannon Messengers amazing, twisted, cliff hanger endings.

I love this book so much!!

Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret—at least, that’s what she thinks…

But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well…she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth, and she is forced to leave behind her family for a new life in a place that is vastly different from what she has ever known.

But Sophie still has secrets, and they’re buried deep in her memory for good reason: The answers are dangerous and in high-demand. What is her true identity, and why was she hidden among humans? The truth could mean life or death—and time is running out.
