I agree, definitely not the best Patterson book I have read. I was 100 pages in and the book just wasn't saying anything. Now about 1/2 way in and getting a bit more interesting, but it really seems to drag. Was hoping for a lot more intrigue.

There was way too much computer jargon, that at times was hard to follow. I don't believe that either of the writers were as versed in the computer jargon as they would want you to believe. Unfortunately I don't believe they gave credit to the person that provided the with that information. Interesting plot though with a twist at the end.

Not the best book I've read but not the worst. Plot was good I thought, for a political novel.
My policy never discuss politics or religion, these are personal.

A ghost writer would have helped. There were times when you could tell - Bill Clinton wrote this. Patterson wrote this. The plot - not so much that the president is missing. More how will the situation be resolved. Did like the female assassin.

Keep politics out of reviews.

Your personal views on Bill Clinton isn't a book review,on whether the book is any good.

Is this book by that guy who, when he was president, was a prime dolphin killer, as he ended the effective tuna boycott, citing the WTO as his legal precedent?
The same Bill Clinton who signed ALL that legislation which set up the global economic meltdown [REIT Modernization Act, 1996 Telecommunications Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act, the Commodity Futures Modernization Act]?
The same Bill Clinton whose first action upon being elected president was to direct the SEC to drop the requirement listing the major investors investing through Wall Street firms, which effectively hides the ownership of America? [Guess it was payback to the Blackstone Group {Peterson/Rockefeller} for providing free office space for his presidential campaign, as well as donations?]

This book has to go down as one of my favorites of all time. It had me fully engaged from the very page. I could not put it down until I was done. The book was interesting because it was filled with political and philosophical dilemmas throughout. It made the reader think. It was a perfect blend of action, philosophy and politics.
