A sweet beginning to a new series by Lauraine Snelling based in Minnesota, Rune and Signe Carlson travel with their boys from Norway in the early 1900s. Relying on the generosity and hospitality of an aunt and uncle, they immigrate in hopes of one day being able to farm on their own land. Uncle Einar and Aunt Gerd are not as expected, and the Carlsons begin to adapt and attempt to hold onto their dreams as they learn more about family, faith, and forgiveness.

I look forward to the next installment!
