She is going to be a huge star !!!!!!! carries the whole DC franchise so far. Perfectly cast

Former Miss Israel Gal Gadot is a superb Wonder Woman, Danny Huston plays a convincingly evil German general (a heavily fictionalized Erich Ludendorff) and Chris Pine is a reliable leading man, punching the clock with vigor every wisecrack and tear-jerk. But the movie is a jumble of derivatives, lifting commonplaces from WWI films and marrying them with romantic comedy and action-adventure. This is a behemoth corporate product similar to a 2-plus hour commercial for future D.C. Hollywood blockbusters.

Plot geared for adults and will bore children. I agree that the actors did a great job and action shots were fun, but parts of the story line went to depth that made it boring.

The performance of the actors/actress is very good. The script is average and full of plot holes but the fast pacing and actions save it. Overall is enjoyable. Now that they put Wonder Woman back in WWII. She is probably the first super-hero in that DC continuity.

It didn't meet our expectations, which were built up by Hollywood. It was worth watching for entertainment, but set your expectations accordingly.

Wow, I read most of the comments here and couldn't disagree more. This is a typical American blockbuster with stilted dialogue and improbable theme, but with the usual shallow plot and predictable results. It isn't even a good one for this genre. After all that hype I was disappointed.

Even the non comic book movie fans I have talked to really enjoyed this movie. It has a very strong female lead, an interesting back story, plenty of chemistry, and of course, action.

AWESOME! Maybe with if the Justice League is good Dc will finally have a cinematic universe that is actually enjoyable. Wonder Woman was both humorous and funny. :P The fact that it takes place during WW1 makes it unique. Ares was a little, uh, well, you will understand when you see him.

I found the story was not fast paced and then towards 2/3 of the way it started to get more action.

Wonder Woman had all the hype on its back and I never realized why until I watched the movie in itself. Gal Gadot stuns as Diana, a princess of Amazons who has been protected by her mother and kept back from the fighting ever since she was a young girl. Her mother’s philosophy has always been “the more she knows, the sooner they will find her”, but her sister, the war general, starts training Diana and unlocking the path that is truly made for her. When a pilot crashes into the defenses that have protected the land for generations, Diana is intrigued and saves the drowning pilot only to find a full bridged attack behind him. With some twist of destiny, the pilot Steve befriends Diana and they set off to save the world from a war to end all wars, despite Diana’s mother's concerns. From Diana is birthed Wonder Woman, a powerful warrior who will not think twice before saving and rescuing lives. Her anger becomes a powerful weapon, and despite making rash decisions, she may just become the savior of our world. I love how bold and strong they made Diana, she wasn’t afraid to make a decision that would evidently lead to success. But this movie is not as amazing as proclaimed; it is rather short and blander than some of the other superhero movies out there and definitely not worth all the excitement. Rating 3/5

Sexual Content: Chris Pine is seen basically naked, only covering his, well, his you know what spot.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Dr. Poison is rather creepy, what with her burned, scarred mouth. Villains, death of innocents, and World War I theme.
