Random House, Inc.
The instant #1 New York Times bestseller--now a major motion picture starring Amandla Stenberg as Maddy and Nick Robinson as Olly.

Risk everything . . . for love.

What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face . . . or kiss the boy next door? In Everything, Everything, Maddy is a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world, and Olly is the boy who moves in next door . . . and becomes the greatest risk she’s ever taken.

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Everything, Everything will make you laugh, cry, and feel everything in between. It's an innovative,  inspiring, and heartbreakingly romantic debut novel that unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, illustrations, and more.

"Everything, Everything" was a very sweet, short, and easy read, and a bit unrealistic... You know what I mean? I thought the ending and most of the other things in the story went way too perfectly (the plot twist was kind of lame too...) but then I also don't know what other ending I would have wanted.
I loved the writing style, and the way the story was also told through emails, texts, and other things. This story reminded me a lot of a modern Rapunzel retelling.
All in all, I enjoyed this book, the characters, and especially the way it was written, but the plot could've been better.

I really loved this book! I am the type of person that would rather watch Netflix than read any day of a given week, so to find a novel that had me reading during vacation is truly amazing. i reccomend this novel

Wow! This book was a ride. I would recommend it for a younger audience around middle school age.

Loved this book. It's realistic. I just wish there was more of what happened at the end of the book. How it all turned out.

'Everything, Everything' really is everything. You'll laugh and cry and relate and feel like you are living alongside the characters. So stop reading this and go get yourself a copy!

The story was a lighthearted romance and is a cute, short read, but it is very predictable. Also, there were many things left unanswered in the plot (what happened to Maddy when she was 8?). The reading of this story requires a lot of suspension of disbelief: could Maddy really just, book a flight and leave? Would Olly really spontaneously go with her, just because she found a sketchy pill from the internet? It is still a very good read, but some parts of the story will feel as though something was lacking.

I've been seeing this book pop up for a while now, and after seeing it again, knowing it came out in theaters, I had to see what the hype was all about. Some might say the plot twist was a bit predictable, and I guess it was, from all the foreshadowing and heavy hinting, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book! (You know you liked something if you're willing to stay up till the middle of the night for it, and honestly, I think it was worth it.) Yoon made Olly and Maddy come alive. The first several pages threw me off at first from the way it was formatted, but you'll understand more about why it was made that way as you read more about Maddy's life.

I haven't read a book with this type of storyline, so I'm glad I picked this one up. Overall, highly recommend!!

Good for what it is - teen romance-y drama ... it's a compelling fast read (though a tad predictable).

This is a good, easy read for when you want to read about someone living a completely different life from your own. I look forward to seeing how it's been translated into a film.

Other: This book has lots and lots of errors! For instance: In one scene, the passage of time seems inconsistent; there are post-it notes that are signed "Carla" even though the character who wrote them is Janet; the definition of "surprise" (according to this book, its plural is "surprisees"); and a picture of the earth that's a mirror image of the actual thing.
