This book is marked J- Juvenile and I picked it up for my 9 year old as I quickly went through the book shelves. Fortunately, I decided to glimpse at it and found shockingly that it is really too much to be rated as J. This book should at least be a teen level although it says it is for kids aged 10 and up.
The topic is an extremely sensitive one and must be understood by parents as well as kids to be cautious against predators in the society. However for pre-teen kids, it is better that a trusted adult discusses with them rather than them reading the book on their own. Hence I would recommend parents to read this heart-breaking book and raise awareness on this topic.
Kudos to the author for a sensitive portrayal of harsh realities.

This book is really hard to review because it's about an extremely sensitive subject that will break your heart. It's very well-written and engaging, but child sexual abuse is incredibly tough to read about.
