Memoirs of a Young Girl in Nazi Europe
Before the Nazi regime takes hold, little Simone and her family become Jehovah's Witnesses. During the war, the family is put through intense hardship and persecution because their faith will not allow them to "heil" Hitler instead of Jesus Christ as their savior. Hitler's hateful campaign eventually leads to the death of many Jehovah's Witnesses, but their victory over him was complete because of their hope, faith, and firm resolve. This is the story of one child of Jehovah's Witnesses who, in spite of separation from her parents, stands firm in her convictions.
