My goodness! I had been so excited for this book and had such high hopes for it that I worried it wouldn't be up to the high bar I placed for it. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it quite exceeded my expectations. Sarah is such a wonderful girl who is very dramatic. But dramatic in a good way! She often has these outbursts about things that plague her life, but I felt they were always made with good cheer. Such as her being plagued by weddings. But I know she's truly happy for both her cousins Honoria and Daniel. She is such a good older sister to her three younger sisters. Throughout all of their interactions I was very jealous as I didn't have any female siblings. Hugh is an absolute comedian. I was consistently laughing at his comments, even though they were quite morbid. I loved his mathematical genius. And of course, he doesn't believe he deserves Sarah, so that immediately made me fall in love with him. Together the two both grow as characters in this book so well. I believe they become better people from having known each other and that is what makes a true relationship. I loved this book tremendously and it's currently fighting in my head with Romancing Mister Bridgerton and To Catch an Heiress as my favorite Julia Quinn book.
