Natalie Portman was an excellent 'Jackie'. I found Jackie so demanding and pushy, I wonder if she was like that in real life. Nevertheless, Jackie Kennedy wanted her husband to be remembered and she did an admirable job of doing that. The movie was very well put together and shot in an interesting way. Some shots were the present time, some went back in time and some were shots of the actual shooting. As well, if you watch the extras, they used some original footage of Jackie doing a tour of the Whitehouse, using an old camera, and mixing that with present day footage. Terrific work! I felt this movie depicted very well how Jackie Kennedy would have felt after such a horrific death of her husband and her efforts in trying to save his life by holding parts of President Kennedy together. Continuing to wear the bloody clothing and refusing to exit the plane by the back door (so to speak) are exactly the right things to do under the circumstances.
