3-1/3 stars this book would be a fun read on a plane ride to paris, london, hong kong, tokyo.. it recalls a bygone age when celebrities were very protective of their image, not 'accidentally' releasing tawdry sex tapes and thinking notoriety equals glamour. by the end, having seven husbands actually made some sense. evelyn hugo was a woman who did what she had to to achieve her goals. she is fierce and unapologetic, a fascinating woman.
